SPALECK is now part of the nationwide initiative “Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e.V.” – a significant step towards sustainable Efficiency. This excellence initiative was launched in 2013 to bring together companies that stand out for their outstanding commitment to climate protection. The aim is to promote best practices and develop innovative solutions for energy efficiency and resource conservation. The initiative was launched and is supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), the Federal Ministry of Efficiency and Climate Protection and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK).
By becoming a member of the Climate Protection Companies Association, SPALECK is one of 72 companies in Germany to date that are actively contributing to the implementation of ambitious climate targets.
Why is the initiative of climate protection companies important?
Membership not only represents recognition, but is also an incentive to further improve the company’s own climate strategy. The path to this was characterized by a continuous process that involved three applications for membership and valuable feedback from the initiative. These developments are helping to further refine internal climate protection measures and further embed sustainability as an integral part of SPALECK’s corporate strategy.
Our way there
Our strong team within the company has made a decisive contribution to this success. Sustainability targets and measures were jointly developed and successfully implemented. Climate neutrality by 2030
Our goal at SPALECK is clearly defined: Climate neutrality by 2030. This commitment illustrates our consistent focus on a sustainable future. The official award from the Federal Ministry for the Environment in summer 2025 will recognize this progress, but the journey is the destination.
