SCREENING MACHINES
We develop and produce customized screening machines for recycling companies and Plant engineering companies for almost any recycling material.
With a test day in the SPALECK Test Center, you will know what your material really contains – and how you can optimally screen and feed it for your sorting and further processing. Take advantage of this free SPALECK service. At least as important: In the TestCenter, we develop solutions for tricky challenges in the Recycling process together with our customers.
Put SPALECK technology through its paces. With your material and on two top-equipped Recycling lines. In the TestCenter, we develop solutions for demanding recycling tasks on a daily basis – always together with and for our customers.
Screening the mineral impurities (fines) and classifying by size is very important when recycling Waste wood. With our SPALECK 3D COMBI screening technology, you can achieve the cleanest screening results. We offer stationary and mobile screening plants for this purpose.
Whether Pre-screening, Classification screening or Fine screening: SPALECK screening machines are top performers for the processing of ELVs. Find out how to get the best out of your material on our metal recycling pages.
Separation by battery size is particularly important when recycling household and electrical engineering batteries and accumulators. A recycling company that masters this process step increases the recycling rate and the Efficiency. We would be pleased to inform you about our references in battery recycling.
Do you have a project idea, need more information about a screening machine or want to test your material in the SPALECK Test Center? We will be happy to help you at any time!

There is hardly any recycling material for which a screening machine cannot be used. The materials include heavy and light materials, large to very small Particle sizes, moist and wet materials, as well as dusty or dry screened materials.
SPALECK screening machines do a great job in the recycling sector, the chemical and food industries as well as in the stone and earth sector.
Here we screen and sponsor, among other things:
and hundreds more materials.
A screening machine is used to separate and classify the material to be screened according to Particle size. The aim is to use Screening technology to divide the feed material of different sizes into size classes. The screening machine is used to separate the screened material according to size. The screening process is also known as classification. During the screening process, the material is cleanly and reliably separated into the desired Screen fractions.
Screening machines are also used for dewatering or Control screening. Typical applications are therefore Classifying, Controlling and Protecting, Separating, Dewatering and Separating Clumps.
In our videos you will find numerous explanatory and application videos of screening machines.
Screening quality is very important in recycling because it lays the foundation for good sorting quality. Screening machines are therefore indispensable for the recycling process of most recyclable materials. The more accurate the Screening process is, the better the overall recycling result will be. This is because optimum screening quality enables downstream recycling machines such as magnetic sorters, eddy current sorters, X-ray sorters, NIR sorters or air separators to process the individual fractions in the best possible way. In the circular economy, screens therefore play an important role in the recovery of recyclable materials and raw materials.
Screening by particle size is essential for processing and recycling.
This is because the downstream sorting devices (e.g. eddy current separators, air classifiers, sensor sorting devices, X-ray sorters (XRT / XRF), NIR sorting devices, LIBS technology) can only achieve optimum economic results with very clean fractions.
Depending on the type of screening machine, these are used for screening and classification into the following particle sizes and applications:
– Coarse screening & pre-separation
– Classification screening
– Fine screening
– Drainage
– Control screening
– GMP-compliant screening
Depending on the type of screening machine, screening machines are available in very different sizes:
While GMP-compliant screening machines in food production are generally smaller, we produce our screening machines for recycling as standard in sizes of up to 2 x 10 m or 3 x 10 m.
There are also Single-deck, Double-deck and also Three-deck screening machines.
Screening machines are available as mobile screening plants on the one hand and as stationary screening machines on the other.
The following types of screening machines are available, which you can find in the overview:
Vibrating screens
